You have been subscribed to a public bug by Jamie Strandboge (jdstrand):
It seems that switching from an user password protected to an user with no
password required cause the system to ask the password anyway:
I have an user "A" with its password and an user "B" on wich the password as
set as not be used for login...
I boot the system (Ubuntu 11.04 ) and I logon with user "B" with no password...
then I switch to user "A" and I can logon inserting the password.... then I
sitch back to user "B" and the system ask me for the user "B" password even if
douring the login its not required password for that user.
I'm going to check the security vulnerability just because it seems that
the password management could be involved but please feel free to unchek
if I'm wrong.
Thanks for help!
