You have been subscribed to a public bug by Jamie Strandboge (jdstrand): Binary package hint: gramps
"Memory Leaks …" & "These changes will land in 3.2.5, with further improvements in future 3.3. Let’s hope it makes for happier users." The problem here is that Ubuntu Software Center claims that current version is 3.25-1 while the installed Gramps (info) clearly states that it is 3.2.0-1 and hence the memory leak problem is still there. While memory leaks are security risks this needs to be fixed. More: Ubuntu Software Center says that the license is unknown. "GRAMPS can be installed at no charge. GRAMPS is an Open Source project covered by the GNU General Public License. You have full access to the source code and are allowed to distribute the program and source code freely." http://www.gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php?title=FAQ ** Affects: gramps (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Gramps memory leaks in Ubuntu 10.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/791176 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
