  I just installed the beta Ubuntu Mono space font and when i tried in
  Emacs by: "Options--> Set Default Font -->UbuntuBeta Mono, regular", the
  bolded italic was displayed instead (see the attachment).   Any clue why
  this happened and how to fix it?
