I installed it as we would any other package, and uninstalled it the usual way as well.
This happened first when I upgraded from 10.10 to 11.04, and *no* other package has ever required "purging files" to upgrade it. Any merge conflicts would normally be clearly noted. Is there a special, unwritten procedure for upgrading 10.10 to 11.04 when it comes specifically to samba4? This problem doesn't exist in 10.10. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/792189 Title: samba4 cannot be installed on Ubuntu 11.04 x64 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
