Hard disk not yet replaced. It began to fail when I (stupidly) aborted an automatic fsck. (the system was new to me, ubuntu 8, and it auto fsck after, I think, the 10th restart. I didn't realize what was happening and I aborted the process. After that, the disk started reporting errors.)
Can you tell me what file is throwing the error. Might I just move it/them off the disk in question? Thanks for your patience and help with this.
