After further reading, I found a workaround from these comments on the
UFRaw website:

It would appear that the workaround to the problem is to open the
~/.ufrawrc file and remove the <Make> and <Model> lines as well as any
lines related to color temperature, green, and channel multipliers.

Additionally, there is an option in the GUI that tells the program to
never again save a .ufrawrc file so you can safely use it without the
GUI generating another .ufrawrc that has these options and breaks ufraw-
batch.
