What is exactly your problem now? It is normal that there is only one instance of cupsd running. Your error_log shows print jobs which seem to have completed successfully. If you have failed print jobs with nothing or wrong printouts coming out, please try to reproduce them getting an error_log as described under "CUPS error_log" on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems and capture the print job data as described under "Capturing print job data" on the same page. Please attach these files in uncompressed form.
