Thanks for your report. Did you have working sound prior to your upgrade
to 11.04? Have you checked that the correct sound device is selected in
sound preferences? Click on the speaker icon, choose "Sound
Preferences..." from the menu that appears, and open the Output tab. In
there, you should be able to choose which sound card you wish to use for
sound output.
