Public bug reported:

Initial configuration:
Kubuntu 6.10 (i386) on Celeron machine with ATI 9200 video card.

What was done:
Updater has offered to upgrade system to 7.04, user agreed.

What happened:
Updater has generally worked fine, but upon requested reboot system has failed
to boot into graphic desktop.
X server has reported error parsing xorg.conf file complaining that end of
section was not reached, probably EndSection is missing
After xorg.conf analisys I checked it's structure and found all sections are
ok and all EndSection are here.

Workaround:
Added extra line break to the end of xorg.conf.This little trick has made X
server happy and system now booting into graphic desktop.
Probably updater should do the same for extra safety when messing up with
current xorg.conf?
