Public bug reported:

I have an usb flash drive formatted under Edgy Eft (vfat). It worked
well, but when I moved to Feisty, the drive would only mount read-only
(using auto-mount, but also mounting it manually with read-write option)
- no matter what I did, ubuntu said that usb flash drive was mounted
read only - I've checked mtab - options here were good (enabled read-
write support). After formatting this drive with Feisty, it works now.
Actually I've used two drives, and two had same problems, so it isn't my
drive's fault.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
