Binary package hint: openoffice.org
Usually the recovery system works perfect but this time not. I lost all
my text, indcluding the opened originals! Why the heck it zeroed my
originals?
This shouldn't happen, of course. There should be some check or warning
system letting the user know, the normal recovery system does not work.
Or even better, use what ever partition for the recovery files, either
user home directory or the normal root / install directory/partition or
what ever, IN CASE WHEN THE NORMAL RECOVERY PARTITION IS FULL. Data,
neither new nor especially the originals should not be deleted.
Up to this point oowriter's crash recovery system has been working
perfectly and, thus, I started to trust it.
