** Description changed: Binary package hint: tracker When lauching trackerd I get the following output : Tracker version 0.5.4 ... tracker_dbus_init() could not get the session bus process 26531: arguments to dbus_connection_register_object_path() were incorrect, assertion "connection != NULL" failed in file dbus-connection.c line 5071. This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library. could not register local D-BUS connection handler - dbus-daemon (ver. 1.0.2) is running and handles correctly with other - processes + However dbus-daemon (ver. 1.0.2) is running and handles correctly with + other processes Because tracker could not get the dbus connection, I do not have any access to search (though my files are correctly indexed): $ tracker-search blahblah tracker-search: no connection to tracker daemon Ensure "trackerd" is running before launch this command. (As mentioned before trackerd is running but can not communicate trhough dbus) Any ideas? Isn't it an old bug? I am running Ubuntu Feisty (7.04).
