Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since
this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work,
I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.
I can confirm this issue using USB drives in Xubuntu. It appears to be
directly related to the auto-mouint of the partition in Xfce 4.8. The
only workaround I have found is to make sure no drives are auto-mounted,
which result in manual mounting each time.
