I just noticed that the jumping up and down when scrolling, as described above (starting point to 'destination' and back), also occurs without the >50% cpu load: it is because the text cursor is still inside a comment in the word document. This restricts Libreoffice to leave that page somehow. The comment has to stay visually in the screen and you can scroll only sofar as the size of the comment "block" allows you.
The bug for >50% cpu load on scrolling still holds: it occurs after having the document open for >24h. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/794900 Title: libreoffice slow on screen scroll and retries the scroll several times To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/794900/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
