Thank you Mackenzie, I have given up and switched to Linux Mint 10 (Julia). I'm trying to work some bugs out of it as well. For some reason my installs always take about 1 1/2-2 hours to pull off...even on a completely blank new HD (Hitachi 80 GB, 7200 rpm). Then after the install is complete I went through an upgrade of packages. When I click on anything it take about 12 seconds for something to happen. I'm still confused, but determined to figure this out.
