Install failure on this (new) HP quad-core AMD processor laptop, running Wubi
from Win7 home prem.
A no-options wubi install attempt hangs after: Enabling additional binary
formats binfmt-support [OK}
A safe graphics mode wubi attempt hangs after the following:
udevd [115] worker [129} unexpectedly returned with status 0x0100
7.467133 drm: registered panic notifier
7.470605 vga switcheroo enabled
7.470889 radeon atpx: version is 1
udevd[115] worker[129] failed while handling '/devices/pci
0000:00/0000:00:01.0/0000:01:05.0'
This laptop has a dedicated video card for running on mains plus a slower
lower-power one for running on battery.
Don't know if that is relevant to Wubi install failure.
