Could you please paste the output of then commands:
$ sudo os-prober
$ sudo sfdisk -l /dev/sda
Do you mean that sda8 is a native ext3/4 partition and recognized as a MS-DOS
partition or that Natty is installed on a file on sda8 (mounted as a loop
device with wubi for instance) ?
