To investigate whether there is a problem with LibreOffice, please try
to print into a file from LibreOffice. Do not use "Export to PDF" in the
File menu. Use "Print" and in the print dialog mark the option to print
into a file. Please run "top" in a terminal and watch CPU and memory
usage. Does it go up also in this case? Please also attach the resulting
file.
