Hi there, I'm having the same problem. My video card is a NVIDIA GeForce™ Go 7200. I have the AddARGBGLXVisuals option set but when I enable Desktop effects I get no window borders. When I execute desktop-effects at the console I get the following error:
gtk-window-decorator: Could not acquire decoration manager selection on screen 0 display ":0.0" I'm attaching my xorg.conf file.
