My workstation hanged, unexpectedly. I was currently reading an article on FF 
when the whole system froze. Ctrl+Alt+F[1-6] did not work, neither did the all 
important REISUB - thus my conclusion that it's a system hang.
The following applications were open when it hanged: Nautilus, Gnome-Terminal, 
Gedit, FF4, Empathy, and Banshee. I also have the following applications (that 
did not come with the default installation) running: Squid, ntpd, Samba, 
Apache, and MySQL
I'm also connected to eth and wlan simultaneously.

yes, it did freeze after rsyslogd at 0753H but I don't think syslog was
the cause of the hang. I had to do a hard-reset after. I'm also
attaching the next latest syslog file
