Sorry, I'll try to describe this in more detail. 1) Steps to reproduce: * start Pidgin * open chat window * right-click in the text box where you normally type message (to open context menu) and point mouse 'Languages' option.
2) Behavior expected: languages submenu should contain human readable names, like 'English', 'Russian'. Other applications (e.g. Firefox, LibreOffice) do this. 3) In the submenu which appears there is a list of languages installed in the system, which literally says: en_AU, en_CA, en_GB, en_US, en_ZA, ru_RU. See attachment for menu screenshot. Also, please note that I have Russian language selected for my account - just in case this affects something. I think that this problem appeared after Natty updated (I do not remember having this issue before). Please let me know if I could provide more information. ** Attachment added: "menu-shot.xcf" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/796371/+attachment/2167456/+files/menu-shot.xcf -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/796371 Title: Pidgin spell check languages names are not human readable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/796371/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
