Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: lightdm
Took a basically stock Natty installation and did a full upgrade to
Oneiric. During the upgrade, the only thing I changed was choosing
lightdm over GDM. After installing and rebooting for the first time, I
noticed that the login for lightdm was blocky or clunky looking. After
logging in, I no longer had the nice dark smooth theme that Natty
defaults to, but instead this light colored blocky theme.
I've attached a screen shot showing. My terminal settings changed from
a black screen with light text to a light screen with black text (harder
for me to read) and all the icons are now light color icons and almost
invisible on same light color panel.
I can also not find any way to change the theme in the default app lens,
I've tried looking at the "Settings" tool, searching for panel, color,
theme and other strings I thought may lead to some way to change the
panel colors and theme.
