In addition to being useless, bringing back old windows is painfully slow, because those are unused programs already on swap memory.
On Natty's Unity, after pressing SUPER+D twice, when finally the desktop becomes visible, it is partially hidden by the dash overlay that always decides to open at that time. So it requires the user to click somewhere else so that the dash disappear. All in all, showing the desktop takes a good 6 seconds. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236376 Title: restore remaining minimized windows instead of showing the desktop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/236376/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
