Hi, Manish. Thank you for your replies. Sorry for my late reply, i was away on at extended week end. I found out that the Compiz memory usage was related to an leaking indicator. I have removed it completely. As you requested i removed the "Zeitgeist-extension-fts" package and now the memory usage of zeitgeist daemon is about 5,3 Mb and stable. As i described in my "Bug Description" i have seen bug #757727 but am unsure about if it is the same bug. My bug does not require a searches in dash for the memory usage to run high, and it seems that it is related only to the 64 bit version. -please advice.
