Public bug reported:
Please sync golang 1:57.1-4 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)
The gccgo is already in oneiric (so we have one implementation, but
not the main one) and Google has implemented release 57.1 in their own
AppEngine and will have to support it.
The description has been changed to include enough text about being
experimental and that it can change between releases. [And I could
even add some text blob saying 'this could be years old, if you want
bleeding edge you go to upstream' meant for stable distributions.]
All changelog entries:
golang (1:57.1-4) unstable; urgency=low
.
* Description update to have proper articles and capitalization
(Closes: #630189)
* Add extended description about Go being experimental and that the
languager can change between releases
