Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

Ubuntu Natty 11.04
Firefox 5.0~b5+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.1

VLC player plugin causes Firefox to not open. Yes I've previously opened
Firefox 5 on this machine without problem.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Launch Firefox from Unity menu
--or--
2) Launch Firefox from a terminal

Expected result:
Firefox launches

Actual result:
1) Fails silently
2) Fails with following error "/usr/lib/firefox-5.0/firefox-bin: symbol lookup
error: /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libvlcplugin.so: undefined symbol:
NPP_Initialize"
