Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: shotwell

Step 1: import a single picture using "Import from folder" into Shotwell. I
want a copy of it so I choose "copy".
=> Shotwell copies the JPG found in the folder into a new folder according to
the settings of Shotwell.

Step 2: I don't like folders with single pictures inside, so each year
has a "mixed" folder, e.g. "2011/mixed" where I move picture into. Here
a problem begins: Shotwell looses track of my picture, I don't know why.
It is gone in the library afterwards!!

Step 3: I repeat Step 1 - but when I select "copy" it states that the
duplicate file will not be copied instead a link is stored, so my
pictures stays in the import folder. => I don't want that! This folder
is only temporary!!

The only solution I found so far is to move the picture "away" from any
Shotwell folder, *rename* it so it can be imported again! (again with
the problem of ending up as a single file inside a new folder!

=> Shotwell has big problems with correct file handling.

How should I really, really, really remove something from the library
when I cannot find it anymore but it somehow is still "there"???
