osomon: for Ubuntu 11.04 we couldn't find a solution, so the workaround was to drop 'Medium' and 'Medium Italic' (just) from the Ubuntu 11.04 release. The complete font family is there on http://font.ubuntu.com/ in the Oneiric archive, beta PPA and internal Canonical walled-garden PPA. Owing to an oversight, that upload (also containing a newer-beta of Mono) never made it to the 'natty' pocket of the Canonical PPA; this was remedied yesterday.
