Chris, No, apt did not remove anything nor did suggest it. I did the upgrade with synaptic, so nothing wrong about that (no errors). There was only the notification to upgrade xorg-server to the version 1.10.2 first, which is a new dependency.
But as I mentioned, I downgraded the mesa back to 7.10.2 and all is OK now. I may try later today the mesa 7.11.0 tree and libdrm 2.4.26 tree from Xorg-edgers PPA. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/798007 Title: [Oneiric] Latest mesa (7.10.3) breaks 3D with nvidia-current To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa/+bug/798007/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
