Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since
this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work,
I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.

I can confirm that thunar continuously spawns new windows when the usb
drive is inserted. The only way to actually use the drive is to turn off
Auto-mount of external drives. Then the drive can be manually mounted
and used.
