I had the same problem and, luckily, discovered a way to fix it.
1. I updated the BIOS to Rev A09 (I was using A06)
I am not sure if this is necessary, but I've done it prior to discovering
the solution.
2. In the BIOS setup in the menu "Intergrated Devices (LegacySelect
Options)" I increased "Onboard Video Buffer" from 1 MB to 8 MB.
That's it, as far as my setup was concerned. I hope this is general
solution.
