Did Unity work for you before? Why do you say "lost menubar" when later
in the report you are saying that the new interface(Unity) is not
working. Are you using the Ubuntu classic session now? Could you try to
start Unity in the Classic desktop session by running 'unity' in
terminal. if it works there, could you try to create a new user account
or sign in as guest and see if Unity starts in that case. Also please
update your system first.
