This bug have been reported several times in the past and I have not
been able to reproduce this bug for me. The cause seems obvious i.e. the
.desktop file of some uninstalled programs still remain in
/usr/share/applications and manually removing the .desktop file of the
appropriate app removes them from the dash but this has never happened
in Ubuntu Classic so confirming the unity bug.
