I have done it. But I think you will get nothing as I do not have network manager installed. I can not run an automatic bug report about network manager since I can not connect to the internet when Network manager is installed. if you can tell me a way I can run it offline and save a file, i will reinstall network manager, save the file, uninstall network manager, get back on the net and upload it.
I tried using Apport before but it always just closes after I hit run. I guess I am doing something wrong. Sorry I am not a programmer, I am just a normal computer user with a bit of experience, but most advanced tasks in Ubuntu do represent a challenge to those not developers. I am trying to help out because all of my friends who have tried to use Ubuntu have always given up due to wifi problems. I suspect this is an under reported bug due to it's nature of preventing connectivity. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/799114 Title: Network manager prevents all wifi connections To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/799114/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
