Public bug reported:

I downloaded Ubuntu 11.04 on my DELL inspiron 1545 laptop--running
alongside Windows Vista; In Ubuntu, I cannot connect (wirelessly)to my
wireless router; I was told I have to do a manual rather than automatic
config, but neither seems to be working; Ubantu also does not have a
network scan feature (like Windows), so I am having trouble finding my
network; My hardwire, ethernet cable connection to my netgear router
works fine, and when I switch back to Windows Vista, I pick up my
wireless connection fine....Do I have to download something additional
to fix this?

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
