Thanks for the link, unfortunately it only confirms I don't have the
same problem in my setup. I'm running the same Firefox 4.0.1 on Ubuntu
11.04. The two settings you mentioned are for me:

gfx.color_management.mode = 2
gfx.color_management.rendering_intent = 0

I guess these are what yours were originally. If we go into the subject
of Gfx hardware and drivers we can maybe get a bit further. Open a
terminal and type 'lspci -v' and look for an entry of 'VGA compatible
controller', that will tell you the make of the card and looking at the
field 'Kernel modules in use:' will tell you the drivers used. Feel free
to copy the whole of 'lspci -v' output here.
