Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: virtualbox

Virtualbox will not use the VT-x processor feature because it believes
the kernel version to be too old. This is because it does not properly
parse the new 3.x kernel version strings.

Function is called "suplibOsQueryVTxSupported" on line 257 of
src/VBox/HostDrivers/Support/linux/SUPLib-linux.cpp
