Same bug with a Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 XP Global analog tv card (which
has a CX2388X chip). After watching tv with tvtime
(http://tvtime.sourceforge.net/) for about half an hour, the picture
freezes, the tuner won't work until restarting the system or unloading
and reloading the module cx8800.dmesg shows a similar error message
(video y / packed - dma channel status dump), repeating it about twice
per second. I have a Fujitsu Siemes Esprimo E5905 with a 3 GHz Pentium 4
processor and 1 GB of RAM, integrated Intel 945 graphics and audio. I
have the latest 2.6.32 kernel from Ubuntu 10.04, and I also tried using
a backported 2.6.38 kernel from 11.04, which gives the same behaviour.
