Yes, I installed the proposed version of Unity, but I have not had the chance to test it yet. However, that was not the point of my question. If this bug is invalid anyway, and there are separate bugs for each issue, then a post linking to these separate bugs would be found by people googling their way to this bug, and they could go on from there, and they wouldn't post to this bug asking for status.
