I have exactly the same problem but I am using a different webcam. It's an HP 6730s built in web cam, the model is a Chicony Electronics CKF7063 ID 04f2:b083. I am on Ubuntu 11.04 and the kernel 2.6.38-10-generic
The webcam hangs after few seconds sometimes minutes, usually when I am using at the same time any browser and I am in a website with Flash. [ 175.462027] uvcvideo: Failed to resubmit video URB (-27). [ 175.462033] uvcvideo: Failed to resubmit video URB (-27). [ 175.462039] uvcvideo: Failed to resubmit video URB (-27).
