@ Bilal: My description was not clear enough. I did not mean that icons
specifically need to be customizable. Rather I meant that the contents
of the home dash needs to be customizable. That is, we need to support
customized versions of ubuntu that ship with a customized home dash that
allows the user to launch different applications than the default, and
this needs to be doable without modifying unity code itself.
