I have the same on Dell 6520. touchpad works to some extend, i.e. I can scroll (only vertically though), tap to click works. But the stick and tocuhpad are recognised as one device:
ImPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint I have the same on my old laptop Dell E5510. It would be really nice to be able to disable the touchpad only and use the stick!
