Changing from ubiquity to linux, since this bug is a kernel panic, which sometimes occurs when installing and sometimes not, and which occurs on both regular and Wubi Ubuntu systems (the latter of which are ubiquity- free).
Also marking Incomplete for now, pursuant to some requests for information in https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+question/161214. Once the problem is clearer, assuming Scott Price is willing to assist with this bug, and then I (or he) can mark it back to New (after apport- collect). Unless this is a duplicate of a better-documented bug, it is unlikely that a developer can work on this bug, based only on the information already provided. ** Package changed: ubiquity (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/800491 Title: Ubiquity crashes and corrupts Windows.
