Try clicking, right-click or left-click just to the right of that. On my panel, there is a small space between that icon and the items to the right. That space is where I click to do things to the timer. In previous versions, I could click the bar itself, but that no longer has any effect. I suppose that is why I think it works, but I guess it is hidden if you have used the timer before.
I will confirm this issue, too. It really should work to click directly on the icon, instead of alongside it. ** Changed in: xfce4-timer-plugin (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed ** Changed in: xfce4-timer-plugin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/800659 Title: The applet doesn't react to mouse interaction To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-timer-plugin/+bug/800659/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
