This is very easy to reproduce and I'm surprised there's so much
confusion here:
Steps to reproduce:
1.) Close all windows
2.) Open Firefox
3.) Open Thunderbird
4.) Click on a link in a mail.
Expected result:
Firefox window has focus
Actual result:
Thunderbird still has focus
** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Confirmed
** Summary changed:
- URL from Thunderbird doesn't give browser focus when clicked
+ URL from Thunderbird doesn't give browser focus when clicked if browser
window isn't minimised
