Apport's definition of "outdated packages" is incorrect. Looking just at
libxml2, 2.7.8.dfsg-2ubuntu0.1 is currently, indeed, the latest version.
2.7.8.dfsg-2 is the version that originally shipped in natty, before a
security update.

  Binary package hint: chromium-browser

I came to my workstation in the morning to find that Chromium had
crashed overnight, without any intervention on my part.

This is on a system in which my home directory is served from AFS. Given
the time of the crash, I believe my home directory was not accessible
(due to expired authentication) at the time.
