** Description changed:

I upgraded recently to Natty and Unity, and initially my clock was fine (24h
clock).
Due to numerous issues with Unity, I briefly installed (and uninstalled)
Gnome 3 desktop (ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3).
Since then, my clock jumped to 12h AM/PM notation, and I can't set it back to
24h notation.
When I try to set the 24h clock, it isn't saved correctly in time & date
settings.
+
+ Possibly related to bugs 735930 and 775940.
