Thank you very much - reading Bug #797808 (which is not exactly a
duplicate) I must revise my opinion that the automaximizing is always a
bad idea. In fact for very small screens where 75 % is nearly the same
as 100 % from the user impression, I agree with the idea to automaximize
only up to 1024x600.
