Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
In the panel system-->preferences-->screenresolution only 800 x 600 is
available as a choice.
The 7.04 CD originally started in 800 x 600 so the installation was difficult
to read. I moved the top and bottom bars to the right and left to be able to
read the bottom lines to accept the setup parameters.
After installation the screen switched to 1024 x 768. I worked with it now for
a few days. This morning the system switched back again to 800 x 600 and
nothing else was possible in the menu to choose for.
Booting the old 6.06 gave no problems: 1024 x 768 as usual.
