@wjamoore The USB mic is probably a different problem/bug or maybe a mixer setting. To bad the workaround didn't do it for you (might be a different bug too). I ended up just using an external mic on my 3810T. But my timeline's screen died almost a year ago and I'm on an asus netbook now :)
